VORTEX VIPER SG DOT SIGHT

The Vortex Viper SG Enclosed Micro Green Dot (commonly referred to as "holographic" by users, though technically an enclosed green dot reflex sight) is designed specifically for shotguns. Its primary purpose is to facilitate ultra-fast, low-profile target acquisition for activities such as small game hunting or wingshooting. 

The device is available in two main configurations: the standard model with a 3 MOA single dot and the Multi-Reticle version.

Technical Specifications and Features

• Enclosed System: The sealed 6061 aluminum housing fully protects the optical emitter from external elements such as rain, mud, dust, or gunpowder residue. 
• Direct Integrated Mount: It mounts directly onto the shotgun's drilled and tapped receiver. Since it requires neither Picatinny rails nor additional plates, it maintains a very low and natural sighting line. 
• Green Reticle: Offers a bright 3 MOA green dot (ideal for acquiring fast-moving targets). The Multi-Reticle variant adds 32 MOA and 65 MOA concentric circles to suit different distances or choke patterns. 
• Smart Technology: Features motion-activated ("shake-awake") technology that instantly turns on the sight when shouldered, along with an automatic shut-off after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve power. 
• Power and Battery Life: It operates on a side-loading CR2032 battery, allowing for convenient replacement without the need to remove the sight or lose the zero setting. Battery life extends up to 50,000 hours at intermediate settings.
