The Nikko Stirling Metor 4A IR riflescope, featuring a 30mm tube, is a high-performance optic designed primarily for hunting and sport shooting. The Metor range stands out for its ruggedness and clarity, representing an evolution that surpasses the brand's Diamond series.
Breakdown of specifications:
- 4A IR: Features a classic 4A-style reticle etched into the lens, with an illuminated center dot (IR). It includes intensity adjustment to adapt to high- or extremely low-light environments without causing glare.
- FMC (Fully Multi-Coated): Its lenses feature a full multi-layer coating that maximizes light transmission. This delivers high-resolution images, vivid colors, and perfect edge-to-edge clarity.
- SPF (Second Focal Plane): The reticle is located in the second focal plane, meaning it maintains a constant size regardless of the magnification used, preventing it from obscuring the target at long distances.
- 30 mm tube: A single-piece chassis made of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring excellent structural strength against impacts and heavy recoil.
Common versions of the range:
Depending on the type of hunting you plan to do, the range is available in several configurations:
- 1-4x24: The most compact model, perfect for driven hunts and quick, close-range shots thanks to its wide field of view.
- 2.5-10x50 / 3-12x56: Mid-range models ideal for stand hunting, stalking, and driven hunts, thanks to their excellent light transmission during twilight hours.
- 4-16x50: High-magnification model for long-range precision shooting, available with hunting turrets featuring 1/4 MOA adjustments.
