PIXFRA PEGASUS 2 P635LRF 35MM THERMAL SCOPE WITH REAR FOCUS AND RANGEFINDER
The Pixfra Pegasus 2 P635 LRF is a high-end thermal scope designed with a traditional form factor for standard 30mm tubes. It stands out for integrating a powerful 640×512 pixel thermal sensor with extreme NETD sensitivity of <15 mK, a new ergonomic centralized rear-focus system, and an integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) with a range of up to 1,000 meters and ballistic calculation capabilities.
Optical and Thermal Specifications
- Thermal Sensor: Uncooled VOx, 640 × 512 pixels with a 12 µm pixel pitch.
- Thermal Sensitivity: NETD ≤15 mK. This market-leading sensitivity allows for the detection of minute temperature variations and delivers ultra-sharp images, even in rain, fog, or high humidity.
- Objective lens: 35 mm f/1.0 made of germanium.
- Detection Range: Capable of detecting heat sources at a distance of up to 1,800 meters.
- Field of View (FOV): A wide 12.5° field of view (approximately 21.9 meters wide at a distance of 100 meters), facilitating rapid terrain scanning and the tracking of moving targets.
- Base Magnification: Native optical magnification of 2.5×, expandable via digital zoom (1×, 2×, 4×, 8×).
Innovation in Design and Focus Control
- Centralized Rear Focus: Unlike conventional thermal scopes that require reaching all the way to the objective lens, the Pegasus 2 series relocates the focus wheel to the top-rear center of the housing (near the eyepiece). This allows for comfortable, natural image focusing without losing your shooting position.
- Ergonomic Controls: Features a simplified menu wheel, silent buttons, and the Q-Switch rotary control for immediate management of power on/off and standby mode.
Laser Rangefinder (LRF) and Ballistics
- Direct Measurement: The compact laser rangefinder module accurately measures the distance to targets up to 1,000 meters away.
- Integrated Ballistic Calculator: The processor adjusts the point of impact in real time based on the distance measured by the LRF, compensating for bullet drop to ensure accurate shots at medium and long ranges.
Display, Battery Life, and Build
- OLED Display: 0.5-inch display with a premium 1600 × 1200 pixel resolution and a curved user interface designed for superior visual comfort.
- Image Processing: PIPS 3.0 algorithm, optimized by artificial intelligence, to clear digital noise from the screen.
- Smart Recording (RAR): Trigger-activated video recording. It automatically records clips spanning from 15 seconds before the trigger event to 15 seconds after. It features 64 GB of internal storage.
- Dual Battery System: Combines an integrated battery with a quick-swap compartment for standard 18650 batteries, offering a combined runtime of up to 10 hours of use.
- Ruggedness: Magnesium alloy chassis with IP67 water and dust resistance certification.
